Location: Office-Based

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM

Salary:  £25,000 per annum.


Overview


We are representing a fast-growing finance company looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join their team. This role is ideal for someone in their first or second job who is eager to develop a career in sales within financial services.

The Business Development Executive role offers full industry training through a graduate-style sales programme, providing a solid foundation in financial products and sales techniques. Candidates will start in an office-based telesales role and have the potential to transition into a field-based position after 2-3 years.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to engage with potential customers from an existing database.
  • Qualify leads and pass them to Area Sales Managers (ASM) for further development.
  • Develop an understanding of finance products and sales processes.
  • Refine and enhance individual sales skills through structured training and on-the-job learning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Degree preferable but not required.
  • Ambitious, with a strong hunger and desire to build a career and succeed.
  • Foresight and adaptability—someone who can see the bigger picture and is eager to progress.
  • A self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • A strong communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Open to relocating within the UK in the future—ideal for someone who studied in Liverpool but is looking to move elsewhere.
  • Driving Licence required (or plans to get one within 1 year).
