Job Title: Area Sales Manager(s) - Multiple Roles

Location(s): North of England (North-East, Cumbria, Yorkshire & Scotland)

Salary: Up to £45k + Uncapped OTE - £100k+


Mission, the main objective of the function:


The Area Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and

closing sales opportunities with customers in the industries they serve. The role focuses

developing new business and building strong relationships with clients, understanding

their needs, and delivering tailored solutions, while contributing significantly to the

company’s market share and profitability.


Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Develop new contacts and generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing contacts to ensure repeat business.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and grow the customer base.
  • Conduct field sales, travelling to customers' sites to provide tailored solutions and maintain face-to-face engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Provide reports on sales performance and forecasts.
  • Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Analyse market trends to identify new opportunities and threats.


Experience and skills:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong focus on new business development.
  • Demonstrated success in closing business deals and achieving sales targets.
  • A well-established network of contacts within relevant industries, including transport, construction, manufacturing, and agriculture.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and market opportunities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
